Jaime Williams, our Managing Director and Chief Engineer, has worked in air conditioning and refrigeration since beginning his career in Cardiff in 1982.

Where it began
Jaime completed a five-year apprenticeship in Cardiff, South Wales. He worked on process cooling—including blast chillers and low-temperature cold rooms—as well as comfort cooling for offices and shops, from single systems to commercial chillers exceeding 200 kW.
Large-scale projects across the UK
After moving to North West England, Jaime joined a Manchester-based company installing large VRF systems in hotels throughout the UK, with some projects incorporating up to 350 indoor units.
Leading from the front
Jaime later became a director and partner in a South Wales-based air-conditioning company, heading its North UK division and delivering major hotel projects across Britain and as far afield as the South of France.
Lion Projects and LP Air Conditioning
Jaime founded Lion Projects Ltd, trading as LP Air Conditioning. The company built an excellent reputation, supported by numerous five-star Google reviews, and delivered projects for leading high-street names including JD Sports, Hotel Chocolat and Schuh. During the summer months, the team also began completing an increasing number of home installations.
Daresbury Home Air Con
By the summer of 2026, demand for home air conditioning had grown considerably. We also saw new businesses entering the residential market after only limited training and presenting themselves as fully time-served air-conditioning engineers. Recognising that homeowners deserved a genuinely experienced specialist, we created Daresbury Home Air Con Ltd: a dedicated home air-conditioning company founded on more than four decades of practical knowledge, professional standards and time-served expertise.

Yes. Modern air-to-air heat-pump systems provide cooling and efficient heating, so the same system can keep a room comfortable throughout the year.
Where can indoor units be installed?
Systems can suit bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, loft conversions, conservatories, garages and many other spaces. We will recommend the best position during your survey.
Are home air conditioning systems noisy?
Modern indoor units are designed for quiet operation. We will discuss sound levels and select an appropriate system for bedrooms and other sensitive spaces.
